Level transmitter goes under water

Grand Island, N.Y.— Model 516 is an all-welded, submersible liquid level transmitter designed to give accurate readings to a depth of 1,200 feet of water and 500 psi. Welded construction eliminates need for an O-ring. The atmospheric reference tube is integral to the neoprene-jacketed cable with a molded cable seal to ensure watertight integrity.

Grand Island, N.Y.— Model 516 is an all-welded, submersible liquid level transmitter designed to give accurate readings to a depth of 1,200 feet of water and 500 psi. Welded construction eliminates need for an O-ring. The atmospheric reference tube is integral to the neoprene-jacketed cable with a molded cable seal to ensure watertight integrity. A teflon breather eliminates need for dessicants. Output is 4-20 mA. The stainless steel housing is less than an inch in diameter. Viatran Corp.
