New service facility: PAS expands capabilities for electric utility customers

PAS recently opened its center of excellence for the power industry in St. Louis, MO. The new center is intended to expand the company’s expertise for power industry customers world-wide in the solution areas of alarm management and automation configuration management.

Activity at the new center is reportedly already in high gear as PAS begins work on new contracts recently received from major regional power companies, and the formation of an engineering and projects team with extensive power industry experience. Eddie Habibi, founder and CEO of PAS, said, “Further strengthening our power industry expertise allows us to accelerate our plans for growth, even beyond the 90% growth rate we are already experiencing in our alarm management business year to date.A).

PAS has seen the fruits of its labors with the receipt of a major project award from St. Louis-based Ameren Corporation, who selected PAS’ Alarm Management Optimization—Real-Time (AMO-Rt) software for its enterprise-wide alarm management initiative, which PAS says is replacing competitive technology.

Additionally, PAS is also a leading provider of a multi-asset automation configuration management software, citing over 100 installations world-wide.d advanced applications.
