Noiseless, fanless embedded system

07/13/2006

eBOX748-FL from Axiomtek is a rugged embedded system with fanless system reliability, low-power consumption, and an onboard high-power Intel Pentium M 1.4 GHz processor or onboard low-power Intel Celeron 600MHz processor. An internal hard disk allows it to function in critical environments and industrial applications, including POS, kiosk, ATM, DSA, building automation, and more.

Product includes four COM ports, four USB 2.0 ports, one Fast Ethernet port, a VGA connector, LPT port, PS/2 port, and CompactFlash slot. A mini PCI slot is reserved for expansion and can be used for Wireless LAN. An anti-vibration 2.5-in. HDD drive bay and one optional DVI port (through a mini PCI module, the AX93210, for dual display) is also available. Platform can be bundled with Microsoft Windows or Embedded Linux family-based operating systems to form an all-in-one system.
