TSic (temperature sensor integrated circuit) plug-and-play Labkit from ZMD America lets designers evaluate up to four TSic sensors at once. Produced by ZMD’s technology partner, IST AG, the Labkit speeds development of temperature sensing applications by allowing simultaneous display and evaluation of four signals: data, minimum, maximum, and average. Data can also be recorded in a text file that can be imported by other applications, including Microsoft Excel.

 

Kit includes:

  • Four TSic 306 e-line sensor ICs with an accuracy of

  • TSic Labkit USB adapter for up to four temperature sensors, including a USB cable; and

  • Recorder for data acquisition, display, and recording software for PC/Windows.

Features include low power consumption and fast response time. Devices are suited for temperature sensing in automotive applications, industrial and process control equipment, information technology products including PCs, and medical instrumentation. Labkit costs $185.
