According to the event description, "critics have said that the promise of easy to install, simple to use standards-based wireless products for monitoring applications in the industrial market are not as simple and straightforward as claimed. Join WINA for a pragmatic discussion on the state of wireless technology and products in the industrial market. This interactive 90 minute Webcast will feature thought leaders in the industry, including: Peter Welander from Control Engineering , Harry Forbes from ARC, Greg LaFramboise from Chevron, Dave Runkle from LCRA, and others, as the panel discusses the fundamental question of whether wireless technology is ready for primetime for the industrial applications being planned, and in many cases being implemented in the process automation market."
