AspenTech has reinforced its commitment to the Canadian process market by acquiring Toronto-based Treiber Controls. Treiber Controls supplies advanced process control and real-time optimization technologies and services, which complement Aspen’s Smart Manufacturing software. “Treiber Controls will meaningfully expand our project execution capability, as well as strengthen AspenTech’s presence in the important Canadian market,” says Larry Evans, chairman and ceo of AspenTech. “These experienced engineers will supplement our solution delivery in the refining and petrochemical industries, enhance our expertise in the pulp and paper and polymer segments, and be instrumental in training our growing consulting team.”
