Operating over a 4:1 input range, the 3 W, 6 W and 10 W products are enclosed in the industry standard 1.25 x 0.8 x 0.4 inch DIP-24 package. It has a 5,000 V ac input to output isolation and the units are certified to IEC/EN 60601-1 and ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 with CE marking for the Low Voltage and RoHS2 Directives. Patient leakage current is less than 2.5 µA. The units are compliant to EN55011-A and EN55022-A without the need for external filtering, and IEC61000-4 immunity standards.

The PXC-M series is available with single and dual outputs covering 3.3 V, 5 V, 12 V, 15 V, or 24 V and +/-5 V, +/-12 V or +/-15 V outputs and can operate from either a 9 to 36 V dc or 18 to 75 V dc input. The converters can operate from either 12 V and 24 V or 24 V and 48 V nominal inputs. The PXC-M has an operating efficiency of 89% and can operate in ambient temperatures from -40 to 105 C. Zero-load power draw is less than 0.2 W, making the series suitable for battery powered applications. Options include an output adjustment trim function for non-standard voltages and remote on/off.
