MassTracker Insertion Turbine Mass Flow Meter — The MassTracker Insertion Turbine Multi-Variable Flow Meter combines measurement of mass or volumetric flow, density, and temperature. This is a Control Engineering 2011 Engineers' Choice (EC) nominee.The MassTracker insertion turbine measures all process variables (velocity, pressure, and temperature) from a single entry into the pipe and without the need for a separate flow computer. Using the full port gate valve to hot-tap the meter can be installed under full flow conditions with installation costs typically 50% lower than full bore meters in 10 in. and larger lines. Modbus and standard pulse and 4-20mA communications allow the MassTracker to communicate with most systems.
