Lean front-end: Sundyne streamlines sales process with BigMachines configurator

Sundyne Corp., an Arvada, Colo.-based manufacturer of industrial pumps and compressors, needed to speed up the process of generating sales quotes for its products, and found the solution with BigMachines, a provider of Web-based configuration and quoting software.

Sundyne selected BigMachines’ Lean Front-End (LFE) solution to streamline and modernize its front-end sizing and selling processes. BigMachines’ LFE will enable Sundyne’s channel partners and internal sales teams to generate faster quotes and orders with the company's JD Edwards ERP system.
“We are excited to consolidate several independent product sizing programs into a single Web-based global quote and order management system across all of our product lines,” says Jeff Wiemelt, VP and general manager for Sundyne. “We will increase our customer service, resulting in top-line growth with the new Sundyne sizing and selling tool.”
