New family of disposable pH sensors

Invensys introduces PEEK-bodied sensor in 12 mm form factor.

Foxboro pH sensors

Foxboro pH sensor family offers PEEK enclosures

New Foxboro PH12 Series includes 12 mm polyetheretherketone (PEEK) bodied sensors, for exceptional durability. The company says the family also features advanced diagnostics, fast response, long life, high accuracy, and stability.

While 12 mm sensors are very popular, the latest design improvements have not always available in this configuration. The PH12 sensor family is available in PEEK or a glass body, either of which is available with a flat, ruggedized glass pH electrode, or a domed pH electrode. Temperature performance range is from -15 to 125 °C, contributing to the ruggedness and length of service life. The PEEK-bodied sensor family also provides additional chemical resistance and durability. A Nafion ion barrier in all PH12 family sensors protects the reference junction and a built-in, non-metallic (Kynar) solution ground, enables highly cost effective sensor diagnostics.
