Smart digital range sensor

The device is controlled either by a Microsoft Windows-based PC equipped with a plug-in ISA card, or a CyberOptics sensor controller.

Minneapolis, Minn.— DRS is a digital range sensor capable of analyzing variations in input and making the adjustments required to obtain accurate data, even from reflective, translucent, or multicolored surfaces. The device is controlled either by a Microsoft Windows-based PC equipped with a plug-in ISA card, or a CyberOptics sensor controller. The DRS can be fixtured for laboratory use or incorporated into an automated, integrated system to provide in-line process control, dimensional inspection, position verification, thickness measurement, in-process gaging, or dimensional profiling.
