Milwaukee, Wis. – Rockwell Automation’s recent release of ProcessLogix Release 400 includes OPC 2.0 compliance, HTML display development, and Profibus and FOUNDATION fieldbus interface modules. Profibus and FOUNDATION fieldbus modules join existing ProccesLogix’ digital communication protocols of DeviceNet, ControlNet, and EtherNet/IP. Each ProcessLogix controller supports 125 to 150 control loops and a system can consist of as many as 16 controllers.
