Bihl+Wiedemann expanded its AS-i product line with its latest addition to circuit extension technology with the advanced repeater. The repeater works with a bus termination to enable AS-i networks up to 1.000 m linear extension.
Two double daisy-chained advanced repeaters can operate together with bus terminations. The company’s AS-i diagnostic tuner, which informs the AS-i master unit in case of problems, can also be used as an additional diagnostic unit for long AS-i networks.
