Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America’s Presentation Products Division has introduced MegaView Wall 8482, a video wall cube that measures 80-inches diagonally for use in large command and control centers. The cube is said to be suited for large data wall installations, particularly where viewers sit far back from the screens. Mitsubishi’s VS-80PH40U SXGA+ resolution (1400 x 1050 pixels) cube uses a proprietary, high-powered projection engine to provide 190 cd/m2 of brightness. It uses Black Bead screen technology, providing high contrast and black levels, while offering excellent viewing angles horizontally and vertically, according to the company. Features include uniform brightness; special technologies to maintain color uniformity; an optional motorized adjustment tool that allows a single technician to adjust alignment; and an automatic lamp-changing unit for sensing lamp failures. www.mitsubishi-megaview.com Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America
