AC motor line expanded, integrates encoder
AutomationDirect's 0.5 to 5 hp Marathon Max+ series AC motors have an integrated encoder and can be used in machine tool, conveyor, packaging, and batch applications.
AutomationDirect has expanded its Marathon AC motor line to include 0.5 to 5 HP Marathon Max+ series ac motors with an integrated encoder. The 230/460 VAC Max+ inverter-duty motors are designed to replace 90 and 180 volt Permanent Magnet dc (PMDC) systems and produce more torque per amp. Max+ series 1000:1 constant torque (TENV) motors can be used as replacements for multi-speed motors, single-phase motors, and as a variable speed upgrade for standard fixed speed motor systems. Applications for the Max+ ac electric motors include machine tools, conveyors, packaging machines, batching machines, printing equipment, pumps and fans.
