Ashland, OR— AzeoTech released Dec. 3 its DAQFactory X, an ActiveX control form of its DAQFactory data acquisition, process control, visualization and data analysis package. DAQFactory was previously known as DAQLab.

With this ActiveX control, users will be able to utilize DAQFactory from within other applications. For end-users, DAQFactory X can be dropped into an application, such as Microsoft Excel, to perform data acquisition, display and automation, while transferring data in real-time to the parent application for analysis and further processing. For developers, DAQFactory X can be dropped into most development environments, allowing programmers to use DAQFactory in their applications with minimal coding. Data can be passed between their application and the DAQFactory X control in real-time. The control can also trigger events in the application extending the automation functionality of DAQFactory.

‘Transferring data between the acquisition application and the user’s analysis package has always been a tedious process for the user no matter what programs they are using. Now, the user can seamlessly transfer data in real-time between the two applications without any intermediary steps,” says Matt Warshawsky, AzeoTech’s president. “For programmers and OEMs, DAQFactory X provides a tool for creating custom data acquisition applications without having to program data acquisition, logging, networking, visualization and automation code.’
