Baldor unveils spate of new drives

A flurry of North American product introductions highlighted a mid-September media tour by Baldor Electric Co. New releases included FlexDrive, Flex+Drive, and MintDrive, a family of servo and positioning drives. Compact, digital FlexDrive is a servo control with autotuning and a Microsoft Windows set-up wizard. Flex+Drive adds point-to-point positioning capability and 15 preset positions. MintDrive, a programmable position controller, uses Baldor’s Mint motion control programming language to simplify operations.
