B&B Electronics accepted for CSIA membership

B&B Electronics Manufacturing Co. reports that it was recently accepted as an associate member by the Control and Information System Integrators Association (CSIA). B&B designs and manufactures data communication products for commercial and industrial applications.

B&B Electronics Manufacturing Co . reports that it was recently accepted as an associate member by the Control and Information System Integrators Association (CSIA). B&B designs and manufactures data communication products for commercial and industrial applications. It sells its solutions worldwide, and its primary markets are in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. B&B is a subsidiary of Avtek Corp.

“It’s our intent to be a actively involved with the CSIA and its members,” says Don Wiencek, B&B’s president. “We see CSIA’s members not only as customers, but as partners for our other customers, who need the expertise of a system integrator for their projects.”

“With this on mind, we will announce shortly announce a specific partner program for independent control system integrators. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible to work with B&B Electronics, including the possibility of co-marketing and lead sharing, while continuing to provide our outstanding customer service and technical support.”

B&B’s headquarters in Ottawa houses engineering, manufacturing, support, service, and warehousing. Its European headquarters in County Galway, Ireland, provides service, support and warehousing, which makes possible next-day deliveries in Europe. Besides manufacturing, B&B also distributes products from other vendors. The firm says this gives it the depth to solve data communications problems, and be a one-stop source for data communication products.

CSIA is a North American organization for independent control and information system integrators. Its member firms provide manufacturers with more than $1 billion annually in industrial automation systems, which incorporate $400 million worth of hardware and software automation products.
