Belden expands: Hirschmann cuts ribbon at Americas headquarters, offers Ethernet vocabulary

Chambersburg, PA — Hirschmann Automation and Control Inc., a Belden Co., recently celebrated the inauguration of its new Americas headquarters facility here in Chambersburg, PA. The new 35,000 square foot facility features expanded office and warehouse space along with a state-of-the art training and conference center. Hirschmann’s three divisions are located in the new facility: ECS (electronic control systems), INET (industrial networking), and ICON (industrial connectors).

., recently celebrated the inauguration of its new Americas headquarters facility here in Chambersburg, PA. The new 35,000 square foot facility features expanded office and warehouse space along with a state-of-the art training and conference center. Hirschmann’s three divisions are located in the new facility: ECS (electronic control systems), INET (industrial networking), and ICON (industrial connectors).

More than 200 customers, local government officials, business leaders from the Chambersburg area, and the CEOs from Hirschmann’s international subsidiaries attended the event, hosted by Hirschmann U.S. president, Mark Hendel.

“This building helps us take one more step towards our goal of continuously improving our Americas operations.

Among attendees were Wilfred Muskens, deputy secretary Pennsylvania Office of International Business Development, Terry Punt, Pennsylvania state senator (33rd District), Jake Kaufman, president, Chambersburg Area Development Corp., and Laurie Burns, group vice president of sales, Hirschmann Automation and Control Worldwide, the company said in a December statement.
