Cleveland, OH— Bud Industries Inc. recently launched its DB Series of DIN rail-mountable boxes, which are suitable for many industrial control and other applications. These enclosures are packaged sale in quantities from one to thousands, and Bud this makes them ideal for large jobs or in-house prototyping. Suggested applications include relays, power supplies, connection boxes, and I/O controllers.

DB series includes eight sizes, 10 to 30 contacts, and widths from 0.87 in (22 mm) to 5.91 in (150 mm). All these boxes snap onto standard DIN rails, while two also can be screw-mounted directly to a panel. Two of the boxes have a choice of 12- or 24-tiered contacts, similar to a terminal block, while the remaining boxes have two in-line rows of contacts per box. The boxes also have internal card guides, and the front covers include an area for labels or decals. Special modifications are available by contacting Bud.

Also, these new boxes have durable ABS plastic housings with a UL 94 V-0 flammability rating, and are equipped with positive screw type contacts that are insulated from one another. All contacts are made of tin-plated brass and are rated at 10 amps.
