FAS (forward-acting scored) bursting disk from Oseco is the largest the company offers at 24 in. Device is non-fragmenting, keeping disk pieces from entering a piping system in the event of a disk burst. Disk can withstand full vacuum and reportedly will operate at up to 90% of the stamped rating and still provide excellent service life. Disk performs well in static and high-cycling services. Scored portion of the disk is placed away from the process, preventing product buildup and making it suitable for sanitary applications. Product comes in Hallestoy, 316 stainless steel, nickel, Inconel, and Monel; other materials are available on request.
