Valve features a double eccentric disk design, reducing seal friction and improving seal wear characteristics to minimize maintenance and protect against pressure surges. It lowers the torque required to operate the valve, allowing easy manual operation and smaller actuators. Sealing technology is said to enhance functionality while eliminating the need for additional gasket seals. Shaft seals incorporate a double o-ring to protect against external leakage.

Modular design offers a choice of a glass-filled polypropylene wafer (Type 567) or epoxy-coated iron lug (Type 568) body. Both models have a wetted inner body, disk, and bearing made of the same material as the corresponding pipe material to provide better corrosion and chemical resistance. Materials available include PVC, CPVC, ABS, Beta PP (polypropylene), and Sygef PVDF (polyvinylidene). Ergonomic, lockable hand level features a 5-deg ratchet setting with six engagement teeth for precise and safe positioning.
