By Control Engineering Staff January 13, 2006

CAN in Automation e. V. is offering CAN seminars that address CAN basics, such as CAN application fields, the CAN data-link layer protocol, implementation of CAN, CAN physical layer options, and CAN higher-layer protocols and system design. The CANopen seminars deal with details of the higher-layer protocol CANopen, such as CANopen services and protocols, CANopen device and application profiles, and CANopen application and system design. They also provide a short summary of CAN basics as an introduction. CAN/CANopen mixed seminars provide a shorter version of the foregoing topics.
