Fluke Corp . acquired LEM Instruments, a division of LEM Group, a manufacturer of test and measurement equipment, including analyzers and systems for power quality applications, earth/ground testers, insulation testers, low-resistance ohmmeters, clamp meters, clamp-on power meters, and current probes.
Phoenix Contact introduces a new family of surge protection devices for sensitive data and Ethernet networks certified to Cat 5e interface requirements. The D-LAN surge protection products keep damaging transient voltage and current away from sensitive data equipment, thereby improving overall network performance and uptime. Designed with RJ 45 in and out connections, the D-LAN products are easy to install and universal in application. The D-LAN packaging options include stand-alone, industrial DIN rail mount, and 19-in. multiport rack mount.
Powerstax plc is the new name announced for the power solutions provider Advanced Power Conversion PLC of Farnborough, U.K. The change aims to give the company an international identity, more “distinctive, memorable, and relevant to a high-tech power conversion company,” a statement said.
