Control Engineering Poland ( www.controlengpolska.com ) has a new editor in chief for the November 2007 issue. Tomasz Golebiowski ( tg@controlengpolska.com ) takes over the role from Hanna Tylicka, who accepted a position with a U.S. petrochemical company. Tylicka had been with the publication for more than three years. Golebiowski brings to Control Engineering Poland more than 10 years of technical trade publishing editorial experience, says Michael J. Majchrzak, publisher of Control Engineering Poland. This includes two years as the editor in chief of the Polish edition of the “Computer Reseller News,” one of the leading IT magazines in the U.S. market. “(Golebiowski) brings a level of experience and professionalism to Control Engineering Poland, whose impact will maintain and improve Control Engineering’s leadership in covering the important issues facing engineers in fast-growing parts of the world,” Majchrzak says.

Golebiowski says he plans to take a very interactive approach to the magazine. He intends to work with Control Engineering editors and sources worldwide in exchanging ideas on how to meet the informational and promotional needs of automation engineers and suppliers in Poland, in the region, and globally.

Control Engineering Poland, launched in September 2003, is published in Polish and is one of six global extensions of Control Engineering North America providing exclusive automation, instrumentation and controls information—often in local language—to engineers worldwide.
