InduKey , a German developer and manufacturer of keyboards and data input devices, has opened North American operations in Mechanicsburg, PA. The company’s products have been available over the Internet for some time; the North American base will add U.S.-based sales and marketing staff and a fully-stocked product inventory.
Tobias Mockel, president of InduKey Germany, said the location will make it easier for North American customers to acquire products. The line includes standards and customized keyboards and other input devices for industrial, commercial, and medical applications.
Industrial data input technology products range from keyboards to mice and pointing devices for most applications. Custom-designed offerings include foil-covered short travel keyboards, flat input devices with foil overlay, flexible membrane foil keyboards, design foil overlays, silicon sealed keyboards, resistive touchpads, and touchscreen enclosures and housings.
