Cosmos 2006 design validation software combines new functionality and ease-of-use features to help companies perform time- and cost-saving analyses from a design’s inception to production. Latest release is said to simplify design analysis functions to mouse clicks, templates, and help wizards. Included is Analysis Advisor, an interactive wizard to help engineers choose the appropriate analysis for tasks, respond if an analysis fails, and interpret results accurately. Frequently needed analysis inputs, such as forces and constraints are packaged into templates called Analysis Libraries to eliminate repetitive work.
