Chanscope II characterizes natural gas dew points in a range of applications, from newly drilled wells to offshore production platforms, says Ametek Process Instruments. Designed to be user friendly, process instrument measures dew point of sample gas using a chilled mirror as required by ASTM D1142 that is directly illuminated to make it easier to see the dew formation and identify the type of dew. Manual tester reportedly also makes it easier to identify dew point temperature. Temperature sensor operates over the full range of possible dew points, eliminating the need for multiple testers.
