Eaton reorganizes Cutler-Hammer business

Eaton Corp. announced Oct. 23 a new three-part structure for its Cutler-Hammer electrical and electronic products business, effective January 1, 2001. Eaton will adopt a market segment-based structure for its Cutler-Hammer product, sales, and support operations to accelerate responsiveness to customers.

Eaton Corp. announced Oct. 23 a new three-part structure for its Cutler-Hammer electrical and electronic products business, effective January 1, 2001. Eaton will adopt a market segment-based structure for its Cutler-Hammer product, sales, and support operations to accelerate responsiveness to customers. First, Cutler-Hammer Engineering Services and Systems (CHESS) will be consolidated with the Cutler-Hammer Global Sales and Customer Service organizations. Next, Cutler-Hammer North America Field Sales organization will be organized into nine regional territories, each with a focus on industrial and electrical construction market segments. Finally, Cutler-Hammer product operations will be organized into six segment-focused divisions.
