Micro/sys enclosures house and protect custom equipment.

Ideal for development kits, proof-of-concept boxes, or OEM applications, equipment enclosures from Micro/sys meet the needs of embedded-system integrators. Micro/sys provides a variety of enclosures with maximum adaptability to house laboratory setups, NEMA-rated equipment, rackmount systems, and benchtop controllers. Enclosures have mounting holes for PC/104, 5 x 5 in., EPIC and/or EBX-sized computer boards, and can hold up to 3 stacked PC/104 modules. To maximize options and make field service or maintenance easier, the enclosures have multiple cable and connector cut-outs and terminal block/accessory mounting holes.

Models range from a 3U high 19-in. rackmount frame to a small unit for microcontrollers or a single PC/104 board.

There are also LCD flat panel enclosures in 6.4, 10.4, and 17-in. sizes for systems that require a computer box separate from the display. These flat-panel enclosures have louvers for air flow and heat dissipation.

There are two Embedded Computer Enclosure versions, one with terminal blocks mounting externally, and one with a 6.4-in. LCD flat panel display, and a subfloor available for applications requiring open frame mounting. Micro/sys also offers custom-built designs for embedded applications with unique needs.

The Micro/sys enclosures start at $75 in single quantities and significant OEM discounts are available.
