South Pasadena, CA – GreenSoft Technology Inc., a provider of environmental compliance content management tools and services for the global electronics industry, has launched GreenData, a searchable database of environmental compliance and component information.  GreenData, a subset of GreenSoft’s component database, can be found at data.greensofttech.com .
The public GreenData database includes parts from more than 100 manufacturers, a small fraction of the data from over 5,000 vendors worldwide from which GreenSoft collects data. GreenSoft offers a full range of environmental compliance information, including RoHS certificates of compliance, lead-free manufacturing data, material composition data, and compliance documents on PFOS/PAHs/Halogen-free/Deca-BDE.
Greensoft also announced that it would offer free BOM scrubs, as a demonstration of the depth of its database. Companies are encouraged to send in a parts list and GreenSoft will return a match percentage of environmental compliance data against the scrubbed BOM.
Details can be found at www.greensofttech.com .
