Chicago, Ill. -QSI Corp. (Salt Lake City, Utah) revealed a lighted graphic display, dubbed QTERM-G70, featuring 10baseT connection with TCP/IP support, touch screen, RS-232, -422, -485 interface, and 1 MB Flash / 2 MB RAM in a NEMA 4 housing. Director of Marketing, Todd Christensen, explained to Control Engineering March 6 at National Manufacturing week the simultaneous release of a graphic terminal programming language called Qlarity (pronounced ‘clarity’) which enables use of pre-defined objects, edit of existing objects, or authoring of new objects to design operator interface.
