Explosion-proof laser level transmitter

K-Tek has launched the SureShot 140XP Explosion-Proof, Smart Laser Level Transmitter, a device designed for precise level, distance, and position measurement of dry bulk solids, opaque liquids and slurries in challenging environments. High performance optics include a measurement laser and an aiming laser to assist with alignment. The device can measure over extended distances, up to 240 feet (75 m) with narrow beam. No beam divergence means no false echoes so accurate targeting is easy, even in silos or vessels that have complex internal structures or mixing equipment. An integrated graphic display provides easy readout viewing and the setup menu supports a range of languages for quick setup in virtually any region of the world. Housed in an explosion-proof assembly with a screw-on, glass cover for quick and easy access, the SS 140XP meets the requirements for use in hazardous areas and is rated for IP67 or NEMA 4X, Class I Div.
