Two recently introduced flowmeters from McCrometer and Fluid Components International, intended for a variety of process applications in the food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals industries, are said to provide precision flow measurement and need almost no maintenance.

Wafer-Cone flowmeter from McCrometer is intended for small-line-size processes in need of precision flow measurement. Device is said to be an easy-to-install space-saving instrument that requires almost no maintenance and features long life.

Designed for liquid or gas service in line sizes from 0.5-6 in., the flowmeter is also suitable for many plant infrastructure tasks. Applications range from chemical injection or filtering in process lines to general plant needs, such as lines for natural gas, chiller water supporting burners or ovens, cooling systems, HVAC, and more.
