GE Fanuc Automation announced April 14 the appointment of Lorrie Norrington as president and ceo. She replaces Joe Hogan, who was named vp of global e-business for GE Medical Systems. Ms. Norrington previously held marketing positions for the former Electrical Distribution & Controls business of General Electric and as general manager of components for GE Industrial Systems. Most recently, she served as president and ceo of GE Capital CSN, an online commercial shopping network, where she was responsible for developing e-business strategy. GE Fanuc Automation also recently named Kevin Roach as vp of its Cimplicity software business, a $65-million division providing automation software solutions.
