Snap Pac System from Opto 22 includes several new hardware and software products said to be expressly designed to be easy to use. Offerings incorporate online training and educational tools that use Web-based video. Pac Project basic suite includes Pac Control software for developing control strategies that run on Snap Pac controllers; Pac Display for creating Microsoft Windows-based HMI and SCADA projects, and utilities for configuring and maintaining the Snap Pac System. Package is intended to make developing industrial control, monitoring, and data acquisition applications simple and trouble-free. Other new products include two Snap Pac brains with higher performance Snap I/O processors; five new Snap I/O modules; four new Snap Pac racks; OptoDataLink, an enterprise connectivity software application; and Snap Pac Sim, a software application that simulates a Snap Pac controller on a PC without the need for an external hardware controller.
