CV-A2 machine vision camera offers a cost-effective, simple way to upgrade systems that use analog interfaces with a device that operates at high resolutions. Unit is based on a 1/1.8-in.-format CCD image sensor and housed in the company’s standard 29-mm wide x 44-mm high x 66-mm long A-series enclosure. It is capable of 15 full frames per second and has 1,628 x 1,236 pixel resolution. Settings are selected via an RS-232C interface using short ASCII commands on a terminal emulator or by using the company’s Control Tool software. Applications include industrial inspection systems, especially those requiring step-and-repeat operations, and high-end surveillance.
