Constructed from all-welded stainless steel instead of plastic, and available in ranges from 0-150 psi (10 bar) through 0-15,000 psi (1,500 bar), Model BDR features configurable electrical connections that maximize adaptability to varied applications. Thermal error is low: 0.01% FS/ °C.
Honeywell adds that versatility is key to Model BDR’s usefulness. Unlike many similar sensors it is not industry dependent, and can handle essentially any process gas or fluid and serve as a drop-in OEM replacement for older sensors. According to designer Brian Richards, Model BDR is “an entry-level product with much higher specs than you’d usually find in this type of sensor.”
