The new Levelflex M smart level measurement transmitter from Endress+Hauser is designed for process control and storage applications with distances up to 100 ft. Its guided radar technology can handle measurements of liquids, as well as powdery and granular bulk materials, even in the presence of dust, foam, and turbulent surfaces.
The simple, menu-guided operation and four-line text display simplifies setup. All operational functions can also be done via a PC connection as needed. The unit comes factory calibrated to reduce setup time. A range of probes is available to optimize the configuration for specific applications, including cable, rod, and coax designs. The Levelflex M is available with 4-20 mA, Profibus PA, and FOUNDATION Fieldbus output. All designs are HART enabled.
