SimPowerSystems 4 helps engineers use model-based design to model and simulate electrical circuits and power systems within Simulink. Product includes new application libraries—electric drives, flexible ac transmission systems, and distributed resources—for building richer, comprehensive models and simulations and reducing the time and cost of evaluating design options for detailed electromechanical systems. Libraries contain more than 150 blocks distributed in eight sub-libraries representing both simple and complex electric components.
