Telemecanique Preventa XPS-MC multi-functional, configurable safety relay complies with global machine safety standards. Device offers an alternative to safety PLCs because it doesn’t require replacing legacy programmable logic controllers to achieve compliance. Designed for ap-plications requiring multiple simultaneous safety functions, it features 22 certified safety functions for applications that must conform to category 4 of EN 954-1. Functions, which include monitoring of emergency stops, guards, two-hand control, coded magnetic switches, zero speed detection, safety mats or security light curtains, can be configured with XPS MCWin software running under Microsoft Windows.
