Parker Hannifin acquires linear motion company

Parker Hannifin Corp. reports that it has acquired Houston, TX-based Trilogy Systems Corp. for an undisclosed sum. Trilogy will join Parker Automation Group's Electromechanical Automation Division, located in Rohnert Park, CA. The deal is expected to be accretive to Parker's earnings in the first full fiscal year.

Parker Hannifin Corp. reports that it has acquired Houston, TX-based Trilogy Systems Corp. for an undisclosed sum. Trilogy will join Parker Automation Group’s Electromechanical Automation Division, located in Rohnert Park, CA. The deal is expected to be accretive to Parker’s earnings in the first full fiscal year.

Founded in 1986, Trilogy employs 38 people, and has annual sales of approximately $6 million. Trilogy is reportedly the leading North American manufacturer of linear motors, which deliver high speed and precision unachievable with traditional mechanical transmissions. Trilogy’s patented designs and motors presently under development offer lower costs, extremely smooth motion, and high force capabilities, adds Parker.
