CS200 process imaging system for kiln shell temperature monitoring from Raytek is said to be a comprehensive temperature measurement system for monitoring, control, and analysis of rotating kilns primarily used in cement and lime production. System combines infrared technology with software to allow accurate detection and monitoring of refractory hot spots. CS200 expands on the features of its predecessor, the CS100, increasing the number of lines scanned per revolution to 200, adding OPC server functionality, and providing more powerful database applications. Multipoint sensors can be installed and configured to monitor portions of the kiln that are shadowed from the main sensor by physical obstructions and display results as one thermogram. A sensor can also be specified to monitor the kiln burning zone, with the data incorporated into one display.
