Protect on-line analyzers

By Control Engineering Staff September 1, 2001

Tewksbury, Mass. – The Model 98 hydrophobic membrane filter is designed to prevent water from entering and damaging on-line analyzers in a wide range of applications. A disk located on the sample flow side of the housing supports a porous membrane. Gas enters through the inlet port and exists through the outlet port. The sample flow is taken through the membrane to the analyzer. Liquid entrained in the gas stream cannot pass the membrane and exists through the outlet port. The Model A98-11 contains the same membrane with the added protection of a coalescing filter.
