Overmolded (OM), ISO/IEC 15693-compliant transponder family of rugged RFID tags from Texas Instruments is designed to withstand extreme environments where temperature, high pressure, and harsh chemicals may inhibit the performance of line-of-sight automatic identification technologies. The 13.56 MHz OM tags feature durability and a small (22 mm) circular dimension and are suited for a variety of applications from industrial laundries to perishable foods. Tags come in two memory options: 2K-bit version with the option for higher functionality and security features, and a 256-bit version. Each tag reportedly can be used hundreds of times.
