Robotics: simulation service targets robotic palletizing
Applied Manufacturing Technologies, Inc. (AMT) announced the availability of fixed-fee simulation consulting services for robotic palletizing systems that can identify potential problems and process constraints.
Orion, Michigan —Applied Manufacturing Technologies, Inc. (AMT) announced the availability of fixed-fee simulation consulting services for robotic palletizing systems that can identify potential problems and process constraints. The services allow alternate scenarios to be validated in a virtual environment, saving costs associated with downtime on the plant floor.
“Our engineers are experts when it comes to design & development of palletizing processes. We understand palletizing and simulation and we definitely understand robots and their capabilities,” said Joe Campbell, chief operating officer for Applied Manufacturing Technologies Inc . ”With this new low cost, fixed fee feasibility study using simulation, customers can minimize their risks by simulating the process before investing in a robotic palletizing system.”
AMT has experience with an array of robot systems, and uses several different software packages for the purpose of offline programming and simulation. The new simulation consulting services are available at a flat fee of $3,000 (some restrictions apply.)
Founded in 1989, AMT offers design and simulation services, as well as programming, installation and support of industrial automation solutions. The company has technical and industry expertise in automation for the automotive, aerospace, medical, heavy equipment and consumer products industries
