Milwaukee, WI— Rockwell Automation Inc. announced April 2 that it’s acquiring Weidmüller Holding AG ‘s (Detmold, Germany) sales operations in North America. These assets include about 170 employees in Richmond, VA; Markham, Ontario, Canada; and Puebla, Mexico.

Rockwell adds that its multi-dimensional strategic alliance with Weidmüller also includes a series of relationships that will enhance Rockwell’s position as a leader in providing IEC connection products.
