Rugged ISAbus serial communications

Kansas City, Mo. —Arcom Control Systems has launched a PC/ISAbus serial communications controller for PC system builders with serial comms intensive applications. It is CE Mark compliant. The PC-COM4 is an eight-bit ISA bus communications controller module with four 16C550 compatible UART channels allowing standard PC COM1-4 configurability. The product comes in two models. The PC-COM4 is a single ISA bus PC card featuring a pair of RS-232 and a pair of opto-isolated RS-422/485 channels for longer distance and multi-drop applications. The PC-COM4/2322 is a single ISAbus PC card with four channels of RS-232 serial communications. Both support Baud rates of up to 115.2 kbit/sec. Arcom Control Systems Inc
