Woodcliff Lake, N.J. — The BL-600 is an ultra-compact and lightweight bar code reader. Said to be the world’s smallest, the device uses its developer’s proprietary polygon mirror and motor technology to provide accuracy at very wide reading angles. Despite its size, the BL-600 offers 1.6 times the reading range and twice the reading area on conventional readers. The device can also provide diagnostic information during the reading process, enabling it to identify and classify problems that may lead to reading errors. A built-in test button activates a five-bar reading efficiency display to help simplify setup and maintenance. A red LED on the display panel alerts the user to reading errors.
