High-performance magnetic materials contribute to the efficiency of Servo Magnertics’ new brushless dc motor.

Do you have a need for a corrosion-resistant brushless dc motor?

Servo Magnetics Inc. (Canoga Park, CA) may fill that need. Designed specifically to bring reliability to applications in harsh environments, the 3.25 x 2.8 in. (outside diameter x length) motor comes with a sealed stainless-steel housing. In addition, the motor provides 90% power efficiency, according to the manufacturer. Operating on 24 V dc, it supplies 125 oz-in. peak torque at stall and a no load speed of 6,000 rpm. The motor’s magnetic design uses high-performance materials combined with high-grade bearings to maximize efficiency for long life, especially in battery-powered applications.
